Singapore, 2 February 2009 – Asia’s leading entertainment destination AXN has been honoured 3 prestigious awards by The New York Festivals International Television Programming and Promotion 2009 for its outstanding on-air campaign for the channel’s top series, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

The New York Festivals Award is a great recognition of the innovative and creative works by media professionals around the world, and is highly sought-after by the creative industry. And for AXN to win not just one but three top awards including a Gold medal for the camerawork of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation season 8’s on-air promo is a major accomplishment for the channel.

Now entering its 52nd year, The New York Festivals International Television Programming and Promotion Awards recognize "The World's Best Work" in news, documentary, information and entertainment programming as well as in music videos, infomercials, promotion spots, openings and ID's.

The New York Festivals' 2009 international Grand Jury - who judged all of the work online for the first time this year -  were highly impressed by a great deal of what they saw, especially from AXN who swept the awards for it’s outstanding camerawork, direction and online web promotion (see below for more details).
